1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using the services provided by Traves-Sported, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Description of Services
Traves-Sported provides professional IT services including but not limited to:
- Website support and maintenance
- Cybersecurity services
- Cloud storage solutions
- IT support and helpdesk services
- Network management
- Data backup and recovery
3. Service Agreements
3.1 Service Contracts
All services are provided under separate service agreements that specify:
- Scope of services
- Service levels and performance standards
- Pricing and payment terms
- Duration and termination conditions
3.2 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice to clients. Any changes to ongoing services will be communicated in advance.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate information and requirements
- Maintaining appropriate licenses for software and systems
- Following security best practices and policies
- Promptly reporting issues or concerns
- Ensuring authorized access to systems and data
- Backing up critical data independently
5. Payment Terms
5.1 Pricing
Service pricing is outlined in individual service agreements. All prices are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.
5.2 Payment
Payment terms are typically 30 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Late payment may result in service suspension and additional charges.
5.3 Refunds
Refund policies are specified in individual service agreements. Generally, refunds are not provided for services already rendered.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our IP
All proprietary methodologies, tools, and documentation remain the intellectual property of Traves-Sported.
6.2 Client IP
Clients retain ownership of their data and business information. We respect and protect client intellectual property rights.
6.3 Third-Party IP
Use of third-party software and services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
7. Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality regarding:
- Client business information and data
- System configurations and security measures
- Trade secrets and proprietary information
- Any information marked as confidential
8. Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Our data handling practices are detailed in our Privacy Policy.
9. Service Levels and Support
9.1 Support Hours
Standard support is available during business hours (9 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday). Emergency support may be available outside these hours as agreed.
9.2 Response Times
Response times vary by service level and are specified in individual service agreements.
9.3 Service Availability
We strive for high service availability but cannot guarantee 100% uptime due to factors beyond our control.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the preceding 12 months
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages
- Force majeure events are excluded from liability
- Clients are responsible for maintaining adequate insurance coverage
11. Termination
11.1 Termination by Client
Clients may terminate services with 30 days' written notice unless otherwise specified in the service agreement.
11.2 Termination by Us
We may terminate services for breach of terms, non-payment, or other valid reasons with appropriate notice.
11.3 Post-Termination
Upon termination, we will assist with data migration and provide final documentation as agreed.
12. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these terms or our services will be resolved through:
- Initial discussion and negotiation
- Mediation if necessary
- Arbitration or legal proceedings under English law
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to clients with reasonable notice.
